The Doziers collection now at Killer Tracks L OS ANGELES — Killer Tracks (www.killer tracks.com) is offering a new production music collection called Dozier: Generations featuring the work of Motown songwriter and Grammy-winner Lamont Dozier and his son,pop music producer Beau Dozier. Lamont Dozier has written 54 number one hits, including “Stop! In The Name Of Love” (The Supremes), “How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You” (Marvin Gaye),“Heat Wave” (Martha And The Vandellas) and “Baby, I Need Your Loving” (The Four Tops). Dozier: Generations captures the sound and style of almost 50 years of chart-topping hits from the Doziers. An initial two-album release will contain one album of original tracks in the Motown style written by Lamont, plus a second album of those tracks remixed and sampled by Beau in today’s R&B/pop and club styles. Beau Dozier has written and produced songs for multi-platinum artists in- cluding JoJo, Joss Stone,Avant featuring Nicole Sherzinger, and B2K. Beau pro- duced Joss Stone’s two worldwide Gap TV ads The Right Time, and the more recent cover of Brian Wilson’s “God Only Knows.” He also produced the end title track for the feature film Fantastic Four called “Whatever Happened To The Heroes,” which Joss Stone performed. Beau Dozier is currently working on projects with some of today’s new talents such as Girlicious, Prima J, Tynisha Keli and Cassie featuring Nicki Minaj.
