People who loved and believed in Jeanne could not wait to sign and support her vision. In the year 2001—the FIRST Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards launched. Jeanne was preceded in death by her mother Petra, her father Danny and her son Michael. She is survived by her husband, son Manny, grandchildren Jason and Jazmine, and loving friends. Jeanne was known for her lovely smile, infectious laugh, and her kind & compassionate spirit. She lived life to the fullest, she had an UNCANNY ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She was ALL-EMBRACING, EVERYONE had a place at her table. In 1999, she won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Makeup for the two-part The X-Files episode "Two Fathers/One Son." In 2009, she won a ALMA Award, Special Achievement Behind the Scenes Makeup for Twilight. In 2015, she was nominated for MUAHS Guild Awards for Best Contemporary Make-up & Best Contemporary Hair Styling for Reckless. Kenneth Walker Hair Stylist Kenneth Walker was born and raised in Watts, CA. He attended Los Angeles City College and Los Angeles Trade Technical College, where he majored in fashion design. His flair for design played an integral part throughout his career. He also attended Flavio's Leimert Park Beauty College. Two years after he finished cosmetology school, he opened his first salon, Mr. Ken's Sensuous Woman. His client Marla Gibbs invited him to be her personal styl- ist on 227, where he met and began his long relationship working with Regina King. Over the course of his career, he worked on more than 50 feature films and television shows, including Philadelphia, The Pelican Brief, Moesha, House of Lies and If Beale Street Could Talk. He worked with many celebrity clients such as Julia Roberts, Bruce Willis, Halle Berry, Danny Glover and multiple projects with Denzel Washington. He was nominated with Elizabeth Paschall for a 2017 MUAHS Guild Award for Best Period and/ or Character Hair Styling for the feature film Loving. "Mr. Ken," as he was known, was held in high esteem by those who were lucky enough to work with him. He could be stern, and always spoke his mind, but anytime you asked him how he was doing, his comment always was, "I am blessed and highly favored." deasypennerpodley Welcomes...
