She comes from the Atlanta music scene, running the gamut from tour manager to agent to on-air radio host. Her transition to film was a natural one, since many of the logistics of location work are similar to music management. As a native, she knows Georgia well. Add to that her degrees in photojournalism and fine art photography and scouting is second nature. She loves that every day is different working in locations—from scouting to managing, something new is always around the corner. Angus Ledgerwood Angus Ledgerwood, LMGI began his location career at the age of 18 purely by chance—his older brother met a retiring location scout in an elevator and introduced them on The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader. For the past nine years, Ledgerwood has worked as an assistant location manager, scout and most recently as a location manager. His credits include the feature films Kong: Skull Island, The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader, The Little Things and the TV series Terra Nova. A native of Queensland, Australia, Ledgerwood has also worked and lived in the USA and UK. His love of adventure has taken him scouting across over a dozen countries. We welcome contributions to the LMGI Compass. Your story ideas, articles, and photography belong on these pages and on our website. Articles focus on aspects of location management and scouting. Photographs for the "Martini Shot" are exemplary location shots, with an evocative, artistic component that take it up a notch … a hero shot in a VERTICAL orientation.
