"LM Mike Riley gave me a job on Season 3 of The Walking Dead," he said of the Atlanta-based se- ries. "I got used to working in Georgia and dealing with uber secrecy and the fan base track- ing us down. It was a crash course." Like with many TV series, Stranger Things shoots two episodes at a time. "It's like working on a series of small features," McClure says. "It's not quite as grand a challenge as a big feature, and it's not as unpredictable as a series.
