FERNET FLORIO REGION: Sicily WINEMAKING: Fernet Florio is crafted from a number of herbs and spices, including aloe, car- damom, myrrh, cinnamon, saffron, and mint. Spices are infused with water and alcohol and macerated for two weeks to achieve aromatic harmony. After maceration, the redolent infusion is blended before aging for several weeks to form the perfect union.
