PEOPLE DAVENPORT PATRICK DAVENPORT Santa Monica-based Method Studios has brought VFX veteran Patrick Davenport on board as VP of operations. He will be responsi- ble for overseeing Method’s facilities in both Los Angeles and New York. Originally from the UK, Davenport brings nearly two decades of visual effects experience to his position. Most recently, he was executive producer at Image Metrics, where he worked on features such as The Curi- ous Case of Benjamin Button, and introduced the company’s proprietary performance-driven fa- cial animation into VFX and animation markets globally. His career has also included time at Digital Domain and The Moving Picture Com- pany in London. WINTER MARK WINTER Hollywood, FL’s ScheduAll, a provider of enter- prise resource management software, has named Mark Winter strategic advisor and member of the company’s executive board.Winter is an au- thority on IT strategy for business solutions and former head of IT for Deluxe Labs. His 30-year career in IT spans all facets of the motion pic- ture industry, from equipment to processing to exhibition. DEBBIE MCMURTREY Debbie McMurtrey has joined editorial house Cutting Room, reuniting her with mentor Chuck Willis, whom she first assisted at Crew Cuts. McMurtrey began her career at Crew Cuts in 1999, and then joined Nomad in 2007 when the studio opened its East Coast office. She has developed an eye for comedic and dialogue-dri- ven editorial and has worked on campaigns for Pizza Hut, NFL, Pepsi, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Gillette and Oral B. She has also cut popular paro- dies for NBC’s Saturday Night Live. MCMURTREY JEREMY BAUMANN Jeremy Baumann has joined Click 3X in New York City as a fulltime editor. He spent five years at the New York office of Red Car, working as an assistant editor on commercial campaigns, music videos and Web content, as well as on long- and short-form projects. Baumann is skilled on both Avid and Final Cut Pro systems. KRAJEWSKI ELIZABETH KRAJEWSKI Editorial house Beast has hired Elizabeth Krajewski as executive producer at its New York facility. Krajewski joins the studio from Jump and brings with her extensive editorial and visual effects experience. At Jump Krajewski started as a senior producer in 2005, and was then pro- moted to executive producer in 2007.There, she worked with a variety of national brands, includ- ing Hershey’s, L’Oreal, Maybelline and Verizon. Originally from Chicago, Krajewski got her start in production with Supply & Demand in New York, and then moved into post as a VFX pro- ducer with Spontaneous before making the tran- sition to the editorial side. DOLAN GREG DOLAN Burbank-based Xytech Systems, a provider of resource,work order and asset management solu- tions, has named Greg Dolan executive VP. He will be responsible for the strategic direction of the company, as well as for sales, marketing and system implementations. Dolan joined Xytech in May 2009 after leaving his position as VP/GM of ScheduAll. He has also served as CIO of the New York Media Group. TRACY FETTERMAN Santa Monica-based edit house Chrome has hired Tracy Fetterman as its West Coast sales representative. She also handles sales for produc- tion company Partizan.The hiring is the first in a series of signings Chrome has planned, with the East Coast and Midwest also on their radar. MICAH SCARPELLI New York-based editorial, visual effects and original music studio Fluid has added Micah Scarpelli to its editorial roster. Scarpelli has cut campaigns for The Museum of Sex,MTV, Mercedes Benz, NFL, Smirnoff and Subway. His music video work in- cludes the Rosebuds’ Life Like and a background video for Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet tour.
