Zinfandel grapes are drying in the fi eld, destined for Terra d'Oro Port. After over 15 years of building up a solera, Leamy is excited about Terra d'Oro's fi rst designated 10-Year Old Tawny Port, which will probably be released in the spring of 2013. Tasted from an American oak barrel, a fi nished blend was showing a classic reddish-brown sheen, with ultra-ripe, raisined fruit tinged with pumpkin pie spices, giving lusciously sweet, fl uid, silky, zesty sensations: another new American classic, on its way!
