Since 2009, Iceland is steadfastly winning the hearts and minds of location professionals. The
film commission (www.filminiceland.com) supported by Iceland Naturally (www.icelandnaturally
.com) perfected a five-day tour for location pros, covering the diverse southern portion of
Iceland. Iceland offers 25 percent reimbursement through one of the simplest reimbursement
schemes offered in the market. These efforts have paid off handsomely. Recent projects that
have taken advantage of Iceland's stunning visuals and film-friendly incentives include Game
of Thrones, The Fate of the Furious, Justice League, Rogue One, Star Wars: The Force Awakens,
Transformers: Age of Extinction, Interstellar, Thor: The Dark World, Star Trek Into Darkness,
Prometheus, Oblivion and The Secret Life of Walter Mi y.
