his past August, AEA hosted a
Restorative Justice workshop to
provide information and background
about restorative practices and the school
to prison pipeline along with an overview
of the impact restorative practices are
having in schools. The workshop was
presented by Aaron Dorsey, with the
National Education Association Human
and Civil Rights Division. Participants
learned about the basics for effective
implementation and discussed next steps
to take to begin or move forward.
