LA CASINOS GIVE BACK IN S pring has always been a time of new beginnings. Spring cleaning represents a fresh new start to living, the end of spring break marks the beginning of the push towards the end of the school year, and as the last of the winter storms clear out, they make way for fresh green flora, and colorful foliage begins to pop up. This month we here at Live want to show you how the LA Casinos are spreading new beginnings of their own by giving back to their local communities in fun and exciting ways. This isn't some boring telethon, this is doing charity work Casino style! HUSTLER CASINO for example has a long tradition of reaching out to its community in material ways. Not only does HUSTLER Casino provide millions in tax dollars to the city, which goes to support a variety of vital city services including street lighting and sidewalk repair, road repair and city beautification and maintenance, but also, it supports a variety of community charities and programs that provides a tangible benefit to the people within the community. For example HUSTLER Casino employees have participated as board members of the Gardena Chamber Of Commerce and also provided support to the Gardena Helping Hands Program that supports underprivileged families in the area. Two of the largest Helping Hands programs include the Thanksgiving Food Bank that takes place during November and The holiday toy drive where people provide hundreds of new toys that can be given to underprivileged children by Santa Claus for the Christmas Holiday. In addition, HUSTLER Casino also has been a proud supporter of Los Angeles' Jefferey Foundation, providing financial support, education and training to children with special needs Even more important is that Hustler Casino is striving to help make the community a better place by providing strong support to the Gardena Police Foundation. General Manager Thomas Candy has participated as a founding board member in addition to providing continued financial support to this important organization. The Gardena Police Foundation includes leaders from the Gardena business community who have come together to raise funds in hopes to make Gardena one of the safest cities in the South Bay.
