That's right, The Tasting Panel is D.C.-bound to explore how spirits from around the globe play in classic American cocktails as part of our second National Archives cocktail competition. This year's challenge? Simple: Take brands from all over the globe (even here in the good ole U S of A!) and challenge bartenders to put them in classic American cocktails. With a cash prize on the line for the top three finishers, the stakes are high, so we wanted to give the contestants a sneak peek at what our emcee, National Archives Foundation Chief Spirits Advisor Derek Brown, and judge Duane Sylvestre might be looking for.
