SPEED TASTING REPORT THE ENDURING MARGARITA The Brand: PATRÓN REPOSADO TEQUILA In its inimitable hand-crafted glass bottle, Patrón is the original small batch tequila, the largest importer of 100% blue Weber agave tequila—made from plants grown in the Highlands of Jalisco. Today, Patrón is produced the same way it was when it was intro- duced in 1989, from the Master Distiller to the jimadores, to the hands-on labeling and packaging. Our Panel says: "This is a take on the Margarita that can carry through to fall . . . the bitters and ginger spice it up and warm up the reposado's honey tones." —Anne Marineau "Nice to see a tequila cocktail head towards the spice rack and away from fruit. The clove cinnamon finish was nicely bal- anced with the well-rounded tequila notes." —Pat Brophy Natalia Cardenas, bartender at Chicago's Balena restaurant, made the drink with Patrón Reposado. The Drink: Don't Tell Daisy ◗ 2 oz. Patrón Reposado tequila ◗ ¾ oz. Meletti Amaro ◗ ½ oz.
