Magave Made in the Highlands of Jalisco at Destiladora del Valle de Tequila (NOM 1438), Magave is unusual in that it is crafted using traditional artisanal methods and state of the art equipment. The harvested agaves are baked in both stone ovens and stain- less steel autoclaves. The extracted juice is allowed to slowly ferment using airborne yeasts before being double-distilled in copper pot stills. Magave Reposado is aged in American white oak barrels for eight months and aerated up to ten hours before bottling. It is brim- ming with the aromas and fl avors of vanilla, caramel and spice. Magave Tequila Inc. Rebirth For Reposado Luna Nueva Reposado 100% Agave Tequila Since ancient times, the new moon has come to be a symbol of rebirth and new beginnings. So it's not sur- prising that this new luxurious tequila should adopt as its name Luna Nueva, or "new moon." It embodies what afi cionados and enthusiasts adore about boutique tequilas: It is a romantic spirit graced with style, class and a boatload of character. Luna Nueva Tequila is crafted at family-owned and operated Premium de Jalisco (NOM 1558) in Mazamitla, Jalisco, under the direct supervision of third-generation Master Distiller Don Wilfrido Ortega Casas. The agaves used in distillation come from both the Lowlands and Highlands. After harvesting, they are baked in stone ovens, slowly fermented and double-distilled in traditional pot stills. The limited edition Luna Nueva The Regional (pronounced Ray-he- oh-nahl) range of tequilas is crafted at Empresa Ejidal Tequilera in Amatitán (NOM 1503). The tequilas are hand- crafted from agaves cultivated in both the Lowlands and Highlands by a collective of small, family-owned growers. This singular blend of appellations helps create the unique Regional taste profi le. Regional Reposado is aged in charred American oak barrels for three months. It has an engaging nutty, herbaceous nose and a layered palate of herbs, honey and pow- dered cocoa. Regional Intersect Beverage Reposado 100% Agave Tequila is aged for a minimum of six months in new American and French oak barrels. The amber-hued tequila has a satiny, medium-weight body and an alluring bouquet of vanilla, red currants, apricots, butterscotch and toffee. The complex fi nish delivers the added fl avors of orange peel, toasted oak, tobacco, chocolate and cloves. Other expressions . . . All-world Luna Nueva Añejo is aged for 18 months in new American and French oak barrels. It has a dark amber hue, a velvety smooth body and a wafting bouquet of cinnamon, spices, vanilla and fresh citrus. The palate is loaded with spice, butterscotch, cocoa, vanilla and light peppery notes. Luna Nueva Silver is bottled directly from the still. The lively, light-bodied tequila is redolent with the aromas of tropical fruit, lemon grass and fresh herbs. The long, satiny fi nish has a hint of clove, chocolate and white pepper.
