Robin- son, known as EnviroBro, is the owner and senior strategist for EnviroBro LLC, a sustainability communication and consulting firm located in the DC area. He is also the host of the weekly "Green & Sexy Radio Show" that broadcasts on DC radio station WERA 96.7FM. In 2011, Robinson completed a term as acting director for the Ca/EPA-Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) under California Governor Jerry brown. He was originally appointed by former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2004 as chief deputy director of DTSC. Robinson also served as the Federal Liaison for DSTC. During his time in Sacramento, Robinson hosted "The Going Green with EnviroBro Radio Show" on the Black Chamber Foundation owned and operated radio station KDEE 97.5FM. His show was the first "green" radio show on an urban radio station in the nation. He is dedicated to providing his listeners with the opportunities and chal- lenges of the "green economy" that will affect them, their families and their bottom line. OMNI PROVIDENCE HOTEL APPOINTS BURNELL GOLDMAN AS GENERAL MANAGER CALIFORNIA BLACK CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ANNOUNCES NEW CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD LEONARD ROBINSON Omni Providence Hotel, Rhode Island's premier landmark hotel connected to the Rhode Island Convention Center, announced recently the appointment of Burnell Goldman as general man- ager for the luxury downtown hotel. In this role, he will oversee all departments including opera- tions, sales and marketing, rooms, risk management and food and beverage. A 10-year veteran with Omni Hotels & Resorts, Goldman joins Omni Providence Hotel from Omni Jacksonville Hotel in Florida, where he served as general manager since 2013. During his time at the property, he oversaw a large-scale ren- ovation and contributed to the hotel's consecutive local recognition as the best place to work in the city. Prior to that position, Goldman led the Omni Majestic Hotel in St. Louis for more than two years as general manager by helping achieve a hotel record of 122.4 percent of budgeted EBITDA and 11.4 percent RevPAR growth year-over-year. He joined Omni Hotels & Resorts in 2006 as the director of rooms at the Omni Severin Hotel. "Burnell's extensive experience with Omni Hotels & Resorts makes him a great Omni success story," said John Murtha, area managing director for Omni Providence Hotel.
