In his new role, Neuman will over- see several departments within SAA's commercial division in North & South America including, sales, marketing, e- commerce, reservations and finance. Neuman will continue to be based at South African Airways Regional Offices for The Americas in Plantation (Fort Lauderdale), Florida. A 35-year airline and travel industry veteran, Neuman joined South African Airways in 2006 as head of sales, North America and has recently been serving as head of commercial, responsible for the airline's sales and marketing departments. Prior to joining South African Airways, Neuman held management positions at US Airways and World Travel Holdings. South African Airways has served both North and South America for over 45 years and is one of the world's most awarded airlines, having been honored as "Best Airline in Africa" for 14 consecutive years by Skytrax. On-board, SAA provides an inflight experience designed for pure com- fort for long-haul travel.
