Co-founders Vicente Cisneros and Fausto Zapata believe that their rapid success is owed to the men and women with whom they've surrounded themselves. Every member of the El Silencio team has a story to tell, each of their individual journeys to the spirits world as interesting as the next. It's these vast experiences in and outside of the spirits world that have established El Silencio's place in the market. El Silencio Espadín Mezcal is an intensely aromatic and flavorful premium spirit that's catching on with bartenders and finding a place on back bars all across the country. Notes of hickory smoke, cherry blend tobacco and minerals explode out of the glass. The mouthfeel is clean and full with flavors of smoked Meyer lemons and the lingering taste of a smooth Cuban cigar. El Silencio also offers a super- premium Joven Mezcal, referred to as their "sipping mezcal." Joven is a peppery, spicy mezcal with aromas reminiscent of forest floor and flavors of star anise with a hint of red pepper. Mezcal El Silencio affords the mixologist a great deal of flexibility and versatility in his or her creations. It features well in any- thing from a smoky and simple Oaxacan Mule to their signature "La Calavera," an intriguing and refreshing blend of Cynar, ginger, lime and grapefruit soda. No matter where the spirit finds itself, El Silencio is anything but quiet. Sipping Mezcal EL SILENCIO LEADS THE MOVEMENT TOWARDS PREMIUMIZATION OF MEZCAL by Matt Jackson
