The Bitter Truth has been at the vanguard of the global resurgence of classic cocktails since its inception in 2006, when German mixologists Stephan Berg and Alexander Hauck conceived the idea of producing and selling a range of cocktail bitters. The result of their collaboration was a line of all-natural potable bitters consisting of best sellers, Old Time Aromatic and Orange bitters, in addition to Lemon, Celery, Jerry Thomas, Creole, Chocolate and Grapefruit variet- ies, and has now expanded to include additional flavors of bitters (Cucumber, Peach, Olive and Tonic Bitters), and a line of liqueurs, spirits and flavored waters. In honor of its first decade, The Bitter Truth has released a limited edition line of bitters named "Drops & Dashes," which features its Blossom, Nut, Roots and Wood bitters in reusable decanter bottles Recognizing and accepting their role as the crafters of the essential "spice rack" to a well rounded bar, Berg and Hauck have released an essential Bitter Truth Bar Pack this September containing Tonic, Peach, Olive, Cucumber and Chocolate Bitters, and serves as a complement to The Bitter Truth Travelers Set, which contains the Original Celery Bitters, Orange Bitters, Creole Bitters, Old Time Aromatic Bitters and Jerry Thomas' own decanter Bitters. Added to the portfolio in 2015, The Bitter Truth Peach Bitters is a combination of fresh peach aromas and subtle spicy flavors perfect for enhancing cocktails with an exquisite fruitiness. the 2015, Truth Bitters is combination peach and spicy perfect enhancing with exquisite 86  /  the tasting panel  /  november 2016 by Matt Jackson PHOTOS COURTESY OF THE BITTER TRUTH BITTERS
