In 1988 with the spirit of spinning a classic, Gentleman Jack was introduced, separating itself from iconic Jack Daniels Old No. 7 by going through the charcoal mellowing process not only before barrel maturation, but also after. The "double mellowed" method results in a lighter profile that is just as smooth as the time-honored No. 7, with its own unique character. But I digress.
