The expected job growth for this career is much faster than normal, with an expected 29% increase in available jobs between 2010 and 2020. With minimal training, it is easy to become a cardiovascular technologist. They must be familiar with how this equipment operates, and they must know the safety concerns surrounding each of the devices they are responsible for.
