Bits & Pieces Division gets real with Lynch for Mavtv S PRINGFIELD, OR — Lynch 4 Hire is a new reality TV series that will air on Mavtv. The series focuses on middle-aged brothers Stan and Schley Lynch, who live with their parents, and their wacky ways of making a living. The duo will do most anything to make a buck, be it construction, towing, pest removal, scrapping, security or lawn maintenance, using their street smarts and get it done attitude. They are always looking for the next big job. The Division (www.divisiontv.com), which created the series Graveyard Carz, is producing and posting the new series. At press time, the show was in production of Episode 4. Casey Faris serves as executive producer, along with Mark Worman. The show is shot entirely on DSLRs and posted on a shoe-string budget. Tools include Drobo Pro, Plural Eyes software, a TASCAM DR-680, Countryman B-3 lav mics, a Wacom Cintiq HD 24, Zacuto cam rigs. Editing is performed using Final Cut Pro 7. Look for the series to premiere in June. NAB at a glance Reading, UK's SNELL (www.snellgroup. com) introduced the KudosPro image-pro- cessing platform at NAB. Starting at $3,299, it will handle and convert all SD, HD and 3Gbps video formats, as well as a wide range of audio formats, including AES, embedded audio, and Dolby E. Snell showed six KudosPro products at NAB, including single-, dual-, and quad-channel format and frame rate converters. VIEWZ (www.ViewZUSA.com) introduced a new pro monitor at NAB. The 18.5-inch LED-based 3G/1080p TVZ18.5PM features advanced 12-bit processing and 1366x768 resolution. It joins the company's line of por- table and viewfinder displays for production, reference monitors for studio or post, and multi-viewers for the control room.
