Designed for the discerning drinker, Tudor Ice is addressing a void in the beverage industry for a premium ice product that is clean, slow-to-melt and purified. A New Education D uring the 2015 conference in New Orleans, the Society of Wine Educators (SWE) administered the first ever Certified Spirits Educator (CSE) exam to a group of leading industry professionals. Six candidates successfully demonstrated superior theoretical knowledge through multiple choice and essay questions, tasting acumen through accurate blind identifications and rationales, presentation skills to a targeted audience, and proof of responsible beverage service. The six successful candidates were: Hoke Harden, CSW, CSE (Portland, OR); Linda Pettine, CWE, CSE (Providence, RI); Lisa Graziano CSW, CSE (Denver, CO); Harriet Lembeck, CWE, CSE (New York, NY); Ira Norof, CWE, CSE (Los Angeles, CA); and Jane A. Nickles, CWE, CSE, MBA (Austin, TX). Strategic Growth S outhern Wine & Spirits of America, Inc. has expanded the leadership presence of its corporate National Accounts team to provide its clients with best-in-class service, improved efficiencies and access to greater resources. "Due to our marked expansion of on-premise sales and service needs, the company has realigned existing internal resources to augment call coverage across 100 key national account customers across our national footprint," said Southern's Executive Vice President, Commercial Strategy Kevin Fennessey.
