The downtown is bustling with critically-acclaimed restaurants known for their craft cocktails, Maine seafood and delicious ingenuity. Micro- breweries and distilleries are popping up throughout the area and you can even find an operational brewery, distillery, bar and restaurant spot all in one. With Portland's quickly growing food scene, it's only natural to see craft bars popping up throughout the area. Yet one location that we were surprised to discover—and that earned the "best drink" award by Alton Brown last year—was Vena's Fizz House. PLACES
