healthy living get. We get a taste of that enlivened, unin- hibited sensation and think, Sure, why not another. Sadly, as the blood alcohol level increases, we lose the giddy lighthead- edness that makes sex so appealing and begin to suffer the depressant qualities of alcohol, which create drowsiness, dampen the mood and make it increasingly diffi - cult to satisfy sexual desire. Overdoing it with alcohol is one of the most com- mon causes of erectile dysfunc- tion and is linked to diffi culty in achieving orgasm in women as well. In addition to depressing the nervous system, larger quantities of alcohol dry out the body, increasing vaginal dryness and inhibiting the oxygen and fl uids needed to fl ow for sexual arousal to peak. Worse still, excessive use of alcohol completely changes the game both internally and externally. Crossing the line to be- ing drunk clouds judgment as well as the lines of consent, and excessive amounts provoke aggression in males. Half of all sexual assaults and violent crimes are committed under the ef- fects of excessive alcohol. Benjamin Franklin wrote, "Behold the rain which descends from heaven upon our vineyards, there it enters the roots of the vines, to be changed into wine, a constant proof that God loves us, and loves to see us happy." Indeed, nature and our human ingenuity have provided a multitude of ways to enjoy our fellow man, but use this particular tool sparingly and thoughtfully for best effects. Rather than go to excess, savor each sip that passes your lips, imagining the touch of your lover's lips, the feel of your be- loved's skin, or his natural body scent. Be creative with your drink, adding the fruits and spices of attraction to the very fi rst cup. Then, too, while a few sips of wine can be a wonderful aphro- disiac, sometimes the most magnifi cent lovemaking takes place when lovers revel only in their intoxicating feelings of love. —Wendy Strgar, writer, teacher and loveologist, is the founder and CEO at Good Clean Love, makers of Almost Naked 95 per- cent-organic lubricant. • ENERGY HEALING • DREAM THERAPY • SELF-HYPNOSIS • WEIGHT LOSS • PAST LIVES • ENERGY HEALING • DREAM THERAPY • SELF-HYPNOSIS • WEIGHT LOSS • PAST LIVES REGISTER ONLINE REGISTER ONLINE 18607 VENTURA BOULEVARD • TARZANA, CALIFORNIA 91356 18607 VENTURA BOULEVARD • TARZANA, CALIFORNIA 91356 HYPN - Ad, Whole Life Times_HYPN - Ad, Whole Life Times 2015-06-17 4:32 Page 1 october/november 2015 17
