ELECTION DISTRICT B Martha Romero • It would be an honor to be one of your Arizona Representatives at the 2012 NEA Representative Assembly. I am currently the President of the Apache Junction EA. I am enthusiastic and dedicated to advocating for our chil- dren and all involved in education. I appreciate your vote and support! Angela Philpot • It would be my privi- lege to represent each one of you and serve as an Arizona delegate to the 2012 NEA Representative Assembly. I am a tireless advocate for education like each one of us in AEA and am active at the local, state, and national levels of our organization. ELECTION DISTRICT D Joe Thomas • In past Representative Assemblies I have been an active participant, bring a local voice to the national discussions. ELECTION DISTRICT E Maria Leyva • Standing Strong for our students is what the Arizona associa- tions do. As a Delegate to the NEA RA, I will represent our state and region well. I am a fifth-generation Arizonan, 18-year veteran teacher and now is the time for us to demonstrate pride in our profession. ELECTION DISTRICT F Ellen James • I have represented you and your interests as a delegate to the NEA-RA for many years, and I would be honored to serve again at the 2012 Representative Assembly. Chris Maza • I know well the need to defend nationally Public Education and the rights of Educators. You have trained me well, Members! ELECTION DISTRICT G Amber Gould • Amber Gould is a first year English teacher at Greenway High School and a member of the GUEA. She has served nationally for the NEA-SP Advisory Committee, held the delegate position for the AEA student program, and is currently serving as a Region 5 director for the AEA Board. Rudy Aguilar • My peers know I lead through action and involvement. I support the AEA and my local association through membership, communications, and advocacy.
