So where's the steak frites? Shelley Lindgren: It's your fault. I got the Italian bug at the Court of Master Sommeliers training programs and made a trip to Italy. I fell in love with the wines, the food, the regions and the stories! I then went to cooking school at Tante Marie and ended up teaching there. When we opened, we decided to focus on pizza and wine. We went to Naples, where pizza is king, and we were hooked. I think that pizza is a religion in Naples. You're right—they even have a patron saint! Shelley Lindgren at A16 in San Francisco.
