Here's to making new memories that last a lifetime. Cheers! D ad has enough ties, socks and World's Best Dad mugs to last a lifetime. This Father's Day, stock your shelves with items for the special men in your customers' lives. Wines made in honor of dad populate our must-have gift list. In Honor of Dad Renowned vintner and winemaker Joseph Carr cre- ated Josh Cellars as a wine he thought his father Josh would love. He made the wine to honor his dad, his hero and a volunteer firefighter, who also served in the U.S. Army. Since launching in 2005, Josh Cellars has quickly gained traction and is currently the fastest growing wine brand over $12. This Father's Day, Josh Cellars launched a customiz- able wine label program giving consumers the opportunity to create their own label with Dad's name, a personalized message and signature. Visit www.JoshCellars.com to submit the order online. The label fits on all Josh varietals, and would be a great addition to Legacy, Josh Cellars' new red blend comprised of 45% Merlot, 45% Zinfandel, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Petite Sirah. The wine is juicy, with plum and blackberry flavors prominent, and layered with smoky roasted almonds and hazelnuts. It finishes long with fine, elegant tannins. Inspired by Dad "My favorite Father's Day memory involves opening and drinking a bottle of The Calling together with my dad," says Peter Deutsch, CEO of Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits. A joint venture between Peter and CBS sports commentator Jim Nantz, The Calling is a nod to both Nantz's and Deutsch's fathers, who inspired them to follow their calling in life. Together they have found a new calling producing high-quality Sonoma wines. Notable winemaker Dan Goldfield has recently joined their team overseeing production of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. "Dan has crafted some of Sonoma's best wines and has insider knowledge of the Dutton Ranch vineyards where we source almost all of our fruit," Peter says. Optimal conditions in spring and summer led to elongated hang time, result- ing in enhanced flavors and acidity in the 2013 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. Medium-bodied, the wine features aromas of Bing cherry, fresh raspberry and cranberry with a lingering finish.
