PORTS OF NEW YORK 93 Gamba Vineyards and Winery 2013 Old Vine Zinfandel, Gamba Estate, Russian River Valley ($45) Rich and dense with ripe blackberry, boysenberry and spice; savory and intense with balance and lush texture; long and complete with balance and style. 94 Pepper Bridge Winery 2012 Trine, Walla Walla Valley ($65) Winemaker Jean-François Pellet scores again. Luscious plum, black raspberry and spice; notes of chocolate, vanilla and toast; supple and elegant. 27% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, 37% Cabernet Franc, 13% Petit Verdot.
