Situated in the Uptown area, The Museum of African American Technology Science Village (MAAT) chronicles the technical achievements of people of African descent from ancient times to the present, and pro- vides science education and awareness activities for stu- dents and adults. Computer classes at the Internet Cafe, science education activities and seminars are the main services offered. With four runways and a yearly passenger count of over 10 million, Oakland International Airport is served by various regular and low- cost airlines offering numerous direct and connecting flights throughout the country, with connec- tions to all points of the globe.
