In travels from India, Thailand and Mexico to China and Fiji, she's never found a food too spicy for her taste. A New Yorker, she lived in New Orleans before mak- ing her home in San Francisco. Lauren Mowery is the weekly wine, coffee and tea columnist for The Village Voice. She writes an award-winning blog called Chasing the Vine. A former New York litigator, she transitioned to the startup wine industry though Gilt Taste, before launching a career as a freelance drinks, food and travel writer. She has traveled to over two dozen countries in the last few years, many of which are featured in articles published online and in magazines including Wine & Spirits, Wine Enthusiast, Saveur, The Wine Merchant, Men's Journal, Palate Press, Bar and Restaurant Magazine and Fodors.com. She recently com- pleted the three-year WSET Diploma course and hopes to enter the MW program in the future. Philip Dobard is Vice President of the SoFAB Institute, home of The Museum of the American Cocktail. He directs the organization's Los Angeles–based West Coast opera- tions, publishes SoFAB Magazine and produces Farm to Table International, the CULINARIA Query & Lecture Series and Touring the Cocktail, a multi-city series of spirits education seminars. Under the SoFAB Media banner, he's executive producing several web series, among them Drinking Heads, Eating Heads, Touring the Cocktail and World Eats. He completed graduate studies at UCLA, is an advisor to the Art Institute of California, Los Angeles and serves on the Board of Golden State of Cocktails, an annual festival celebrat- ing California's spirits culture. Jaimee Morse is a fine art wedding and editorial photographer based in Minneapolis who travels often, especially to the New England coast where she grew up. Jaimee has been featured by some of the wedding industry's top blogs and publications.
