He is based in Toronto and will be responsible for sales and training, as well as for continued development of new workflow initiatives based on cloud infrastructures. Krebs comes to Forbidden from Eyeon Software, where he held several positions in sales, marketing and content production. Before Eyeon, Krebs had a long career in post, VFX and interface design. He was the founder/president of the Toronto post boutique Serial Digital Post. He also served as a workflow designer and editor on Douglas Trumbull's 120fps, 4K stereoscopic film, UFOTOG. BRANDON PORTER Whitehouse Post has promoted Brandon Porter to editor. He is based in LA and joined the studio in 2010. Porter is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design. Early in his career, he worked at Lab 601 in Atlanta, and later moved to Beast in Los Angeles. He's worked with brands that include BMW, Adidas and GE, and he recently cut HP's Ghost Wave, a Web short that focuses on surfer Ian Walsh's quest to ride South Africa's largest waves. WILSON ZEFERINO Arri has appointed Wilson Zeferino as its new director of sales, Latin American markets. Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English, Zeferino will further develop business and strategy in the Caribbean, Central America and South America. He will also oversee sales efforts and customer service in these territories. Zeferino previously worked at Fujifilm, in the optical devices division, as sales and marketing manager for North America, Latin America, Mexico and the Caribbean. He will be based out of Arri's Fort Lauderdale, FL, office. PAUL MARANGOS Creative post boutique Hooligan in NYC has added senior visual effects Flame artist Paul Ma- rangos to its team. He brings more than 20 years of post production experience, including eight years at The Mill, and time at Cell in London and The Finish Line in LA. Marangos is skilled at VFX supervision, editing, conforming, finishing and compositing. His credits include work with Nike, BMW, Taco Bell, Lexus, Honda, Guinness, and Samsung. At Hooligan, he has already completed commercials for Citi and Match.com. PEOPLE MIKE VITACCO Heard City in Manhattan recently hired mixer and sound designer Mike Vitacco, who brings more than 15 years of experience to the boutique audio post facility. Vitacco has worked with clients such as VH1, AmEx, HBO, AMC, Toyota, Fiat, Dominos, General Motors and Pepsi. Most recently, he was a senior sound designer and mixer at PlushNYC. He took home his second Emmy for his work on a spot for NBCSN. KEVIN ZIMMERMAN Editor Kevin Zimmerman has joined the roster at Spot Welders in Los Angeles. A comedy and dialogue specialist, he has worked on projects for brands such as Bud Light, Taco Bell, Jell-O, X-Box, Hotels.com, and Capital One. Zimmerman joins the company from NO6 in Santa Monica. Prior to that, he was with The Whitehouse, also in LA. He got his start at Mad River Post, where he worked as an assistant before becoming a full-time editor. He was also on the roster at Filmcore, and spent several years as a freelance editor, working at a range of editorial houses in LA, New York and Toronto. SUZANNE LEZOTTE The Sim Group has appointed Suzanne Lezotte director of marketing, in charge of creating a streamlined marketing solution for the company's Sim Digital, PS Production Services, Bling Digital and Chainsaw divisions. The Sim Group provides an array of services: cameras and production equipment rentals through Sim Digital; grip and lighting (in Canada) through PS Production Ser- vices; and post production services through Bling Digital and Chainsaw. Prior to joining The Sim Group in LA, Lezotte was director of marketing for Bexel, a worldwide provider of broadcast solutions. Before Bexel, Lezotte served as worldwide marketing communications director for Panavision. Her career also includes time with Arri and Creative Planet. ROBIN MELHUISH Robin Melhuish has joined Digital Vision as sales director, Americas. He is based in the company's LA office and will be responsible for working with restoration, post production and broadcast clients in the Americas. Melhuish previously worked in a number of key positions at SAN Solutions, Wohler Technologies, Reliance MediaWorks, and Lowry Digital. His career has taken him to postings in Europe, Africa, India and the US. He began his career as a cinematographer, and has worked on a number of major studio projects, as well as television and independent films.
