Identify potential focus states, channels and partner(s) in order to develop a U.S. launch plan and brand building strategy. Winery History: Brown Brothers is one of Australia's leading family-owned wine companies and has been making wine for 125 years. Founded in 1889 by John Francis Brown, Brown Brothers has established its reputation as a producer willing to experiment with innovative grape varieties. Brown Brothers' sense of adventure and innovation has led them to create new wine varieties, push boundaries and develop vineyards in some of the best regions in Victoria and Tasmania. Under the direction of Head Winemaker Wendy Cameron, the dedicated and incredibly skilled team of winemakers continually challenge themselves to create wine styles relevant to today's consumer. As a key member of Australia's First Families of Wine, the third and fourth generations of the family keep the Brown tradition alive, and are actively engaged in all aspects of the business. The Brown family is proud to have forged a reputation, locally and abroad, as varietal wine specialists and winemaking innovators. Our culture and philosophy is best captured by a recent quote from Ross Brown: "We are a wine company with tradition, but we are not a traditional wine company."
