any ads, from television commercials to
online and theatrical experiences, are all
about the voiceover or on-camera dialogue. But,
occasionally, we mixers and sound designers get
to focus on the more creative aspects of a spot,
like slow-motion water sounds, or the ever-enter-
taining zombie articulation. Music plays a key role
as well, whether it's original music composed for
the spot, or an artist-customized track that helps
to better convey the ad's emotion. The following
