The undertaking is still very much about wine, as it almost had to be. But faced with changing tastes and markets, plus a chal- lenging period of inheritance and succes- sion, the family is moving into the future with an eye to the past—to its traditions and history of entrepreneurship. The Sebastianis' Sivas-Sonoma line of wines, just introduced in the Western states, represents a focus on quality and heritage. And to that end, father Don and son Donny Sebastiani welcomed to their home about a dozen representatives of The Estates Group, the fine wine division of Young's Market Company, to let them hear first-hand about the wine and about the company's intentions. Today, we focus on highlighting a specific appellation—Sonoma."
