CVisual posts 3D concert M cert that was shot in 4K with a Red camera and presented as a digital cinema release. Mistika is a color grading, compositing, editing and 3D stereo tool. Teratron is a band that was previously formed by Por- tuguese musicians Pedro Quaresma and João Nobre. As Cobaias 3D pairs the musicians with three other guests to tell the story of Professor M, a scientist who is investigating a series of peculiar robberies.The project pieces music, comedy and cinema together and is being shown in eight theatres across Portugal. The team at CVisual relied on Mistika for a wide range of tasks, including the reconstruction of 3D images, image restoration, chroma correction, camera alignment and stabilization issues, stereo 3D compositing and to cor- rect on-set playback issues. Antonio Teixeira, technical director at CVisual, says Mistika was used non- stop for two straight months, handling Red RAW data in 2K and 4K resolu- tions, as well as large files for graphics and backgrounds effects. CVisual is currently preparing for post production work on a 90-episode 3D animated TV series, including a stereoscopic 3D version. BIG CBS Prime is already on the air, and its branding concept centers on a look and feel that’s designed to appeal to a modern Indian audience.The graphics are based on 3D ribbons and lights that emerge from the brand logo.They are present throughout the channel´s promo toolkit and IDs, con- veying sophistication, glamour and exclusiveness. Steinbranding performed the live-action shoot that was used in the cre- ative development of the IDs.The studio relied primarily on After Effects to execute the project.
