Fagot as vice president of sales and marketing. Fagot brings a broad experience in the post pro- duction, entertainment and technology indus- tries, having spent the past three years working as executive director of sales and marketing at Deluxe. In his new role, he will lead 2G Digital's sales effort, overseeing client relations and driv- ing new business development. His initial focus will be to develop a national sales and marketing strategy to capitalize on the film and television industry's growing reliance on digital fulfillment. FERNANDO ASCANI Mixer and sound designer Fernando Ascani has joined audio post house Sonic Union in New York City. He comes to the studio from Headroom and has worked on projects for Xbox, P&G, DSW, and Victoria's Secret, among others. A New Jersey-native, Ascani began his career at HSR|NY and continued on at Headroom. In 2008, he mixed two spots for Xbox/Halo — Enemy Weapon and Hunted — that won Clio, Andy and Cannes Lions awards. His first projects for Sonic Union include campaigns for Honda and DSW. Ascani is the first mixer that Sonic Union has signed. All of its existing talent were developed in-house. BRENNEN DICKER Brennen Dicker has joined SIM Digital as post production manager for its Atlanta loca- tion. The company also has offices in Los Angeles, Toronto, Vancouver, Halifax and Beijing. Dicker, who previously served as director of post pro- duction sales at Crawford Media Services, brings a broad range of experience in all aspects of film and television production, along with deep ties to Atlanta's production community. In his new role, he will lead SIM Atlanta's Bling Digital unit, which provides data management, dailies processing and post production services to film and televi- sion productions. ADAM LI, STEPHANIE WIN- SLOW, ROBERT MCINNIS Carlsbad, CA's Legend3D, which specializes in 2D-to-3D conversion technology and produc- tion, has made several recent appointments. Adam Li joins the company as director of software engineering. He brings a Ph.D. in physics and more than 14 years of consumer electronics industry experience to his position. JACOBS FAGOT McINNIS BEEMER LI WINSLOW Stephanie Winslow will serve as the new director of business development. She comes from Legendary Pictures, where she was director of production and stereo production supervisor. She will foster current partner rela- tionships and manage new business opportunities. And Robert McInnis, previously Leg- end3D 's director of compositing, will move into the role of GM. In his new position, he will be responsible for staffing project teams and man- aging outside production resources. BOB BEEMER, JOSEPH MAGEE Four-time Academy Award-winning re- recording mixer Bob Beemer has joined post production sound company Todd-Soundelux in Hollywood. Beemer's recent credits include Last Vegas and Pitch Perfect. He also just com- pleted work on The Angriest Man in Brooklyn for director Phil Alden Robinson. Beemer has been nominated for seven Acad- emy Awards, and received the Oscar statuette on four occasions, in recognition for his contri- butions to Dreamgirls (2007), Ray (2005), Gladi- ator (2000) and Speed (1995). The studio also recently added music mixer Joseph Magee to its team. He will lead the company's strategic development of an expand- ed, integrated music services offering. A music specialist for feature film pre-record, production and post mixing for on-camera music, Magee has completed more than 80 film projects. His recent credits include Saving Mr. Banks, Metallica Through the Never, and Pitch Perfect. At press time, he was working on the upcoming film, Blackbird. MICHAEL HAMMOND LA-based Collins Avenue, which produc- es non-fiction television programming, has pro- moted Michael Hammond from vice presi- dent to senior VP of production. Hammond has been involved in launching multiple series, including American Stuffers for Animal Planet, Outrageous Kid Parties for TLC, Dance Moms and Abby's Ultimate Dance Compe- tition for Lifetime, and American Colony and Meet the Hutterites for Nat Geo. Prior to joining Col- lins Avenue as their VP of production in 2010, Hammond worked on music videos and commercials.
