This Month In
Lionsgate's The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is the second film
in the franchise and hit theaters in late November with much
success. Director Francis Lawrence called on editor Alan Bell to
cut the feature, which presented numerous challenges due to
differing aspect ratios. Bell used an Avid, along with Wacom's
Cintiq tablet, to cut the film, which runs more than two hours in
