CORRECTIONS In our October story on New York’s Finger Lakes region, we mistakenly wrote that Fred Frank was the son of wine pioneer Dr. Konstantin Frank; Fred is actually Dr. Frank’s grandson. In addition, we got a straightening out from the New York Wine & Grape Foundation about some of the Finger Lakes grape varieties mentioned. Seyval Blanc, Vidal Blanc, Vignoles, Marechal Foch, Chancellor, Baco Noir and DeChaunac (and others) are French hybrids or French-American hybrids. And we thought Sonoma was confusing . . . . In our November issue, Russell Greene of The Cheesecake Factory was mistakenly referred to as the group’s CEO. Greene is Senior VP for Beverage and Bakery Operations and heads up the company’s R&D team.
