SoundLIBRARIES 34 RYB supplies music to Nissan N EW YORK — Remix Your Brand (www.remixyourbrand.com) recently teamed up with a new client — a Nissan dealership in Raleigh, NC — that was looking to raise the quality level of the stock music they were accustomed to using. RYB has a focus on electronic and new sounds, which caught the client's attention. Royalty Free releases new collections D "We don't have what would be considered stock music or music 'from the can,' " notes Matt Nelson, who is a co-founder in RYB with Tom Hinton. "We work with artists that make their music for their fans, first an foremost. So when we were approached for this new project, we were able to give our client exactly what they needed. High quality, authentic music right from the source, while providing the level of service they are used to when working with a stock library."  At press time, the regional Nissan spots were still in production (rough cut shown) and had yet to air. The track is titled "Insane (Instrumental)" by artist J-Hype. "The full-length track is 3:39," says Nelson. "We provided a cut down to the agency for use in the spot." "The really important thing about the project was that the client is taking over an existing sales point for Nissan, changing the name and eventually going to change the location," explains Mike Freyder, creative director for agency Moran Group. "Building name/location awareness is key at this first stage, and the client put a really high value on having a polished, catchy and memorable music track to help get the job done. I think [RYB is] helping us accomplish this with this track."
