SAG HOLLYWOOD 2010-2011 CONSERVATORY APPLICATION The SAG Hollywood Conservatory offers an opportunity for SAG members to hone and develop their craft through classes, workshops, lectures and symposia in a supportive and nurturing environment. Participation in the Conservatory is limited to SAG members in good standing (paid thru April 30, 2010). A small administrative fee is required for membership. Workshops are offered from September through May and include on-camera commercial and theatrical techniques, commercial and theatrical cold-reading techniques, voice-overs, improvisation and “Meet the Casting Director” seminars. The Hollywood Conservatory is held on the campus of the American Film Institute (AFI) and Conservatory members have opportunities to be cast in AFI student films.
