Displays Alioscopy Stereoscopy Alioscopy USA has unveiled its 3DHD autostereoscopic, 3D LCD display tech nology, well suited for media and entertain ment, scientific, medical, architectural, and design applications. The 3DHD display, developed and manufactured by Alio scopy, features a specialized lenticular lens that achieves high quality, clarity, and depth to deliver an immersive and memorable experience for the viewer. Alioscopy's underlying open architecture enables standard video to be shown and 3D content to be developed and rendered with such 3D software programs as Autodesk's 3ds Max, Maya, and Softimage XSI, Maxon's Cinema 4D, and NewTek's LightWave 3D. Realtime capabilities round out the offering. The 3DHD is being showcased at Worlds Away Produc tions' digital production and liveevent design facility in Green wich Village in New York City, Aliosco py's first East Coast showroom. For professionals work ing in colorcritical environments, the P221W features hardware color cali bration using the optional NEC Spec traView kit, delivers accurate color in a simpletouse and affordable package. The kit includes an opti mized calibration s e n s o r b a s e d o n t h e X R i t e iOne Display v2. The MultiSync P221W sports 1 6 8 0 x 1 0 5 0 native resolution, i n t e r n a l 1 0 b i t p r o g r a m m a b l e lookup tables (LUTs), wide viewing angles via SPVA LCD tech nology, and AmbiBright automatic bright ness adjustment. The P221W boasts a threeyear limited warranty and a $636 price tag. The SpectraView colorcalibra tion kit, available now with a customized sensor and software for widegamut LCD displays, carries an estimated price of $375. The company also launched its 24inch MultiSync EA241WM widescreen LCD monitor and 19inch MultiSync EA191M standardformat LCD monitor. The wide format MultiSync EA241WM enterprise display features a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 1080p highdefinition 1920x1200 native resolution, whereas the MultiSync EA191M standardformat desktop display boasts a PVA panel, 1280x1024 resolu tion, and a 1500:1 contrast ratio. The EA241WM and EA191M displays ship with a threeyear parts, labor, and back light warranty and an extended warranty at a price of $549 and $379, respectively.
