DGA Events Roundup On October 10, the Directors Guild Foundation (DGF) Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament took place at The Trophy Room in Hollywood. The tables filled and the excitement built as 125 DGA members, guests and sponsors assembled for an evening of fun and competition. The event was a fundraiser created to benefit the Foundation; a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting DGA members experiencing financial hardship. As they welcomed the players to the evening, DGF Chair Todd Holland and the Tournament's Co-Chairs, Cleve Landsberg and Gil Cates, Jr., acknowledged the work of the Foundation, the Tournament's host committee, the contributions from an impressive list of sponsors, and thanked all the individuals whose participation made the evening possible. After hours of friendly play, the competitors were winnowed down to a final table where Jaden Miller, a guest of gold tournament sponsor Sugarfish, drew the winning hand and was awarded the grand prize.
