LMGI COMPASS | Summer 2026 • 29 THE NIGHT MANAGER Season 2 A deadly game of espionage stretches across London, Wales, Colombia and Spain as an MI6 officer is pulled from his quiet surveillance life in London to infiltrate the illegal arms network of a charismatic Colombian businessman. From a South Bank flat overlooking the Thames, he descends into the chaos of Medellín—with its gondolas, crowded plazas and restless street life—before moving on to the warmth and seductive glamour of Cartagena on the Caribbean coast and eventually to a remote stronghold deep in the Colombian jungle. Tenerife's rugged volcanic terrain doubles for guerrilla encampments and isolated conflict zones, while the dramatic landscapes of the Spanish Pyrenees provide the backdrop for pivotal negotiations. Haunted by the past and undermined by duplicity and institutional rot, his mission exposes a lethal web of arms trafficking, private militias and political destabilization. THE DIPLOMAT Season 3 The action moves between London and New York as the Ambassador and her husband spar for the VP spot amid an international crisis. Wrotham Park in Hertfordshire doubles as the Ambassador's residence, while the real U.S. Embassy at Nine Elms grounds the series in authentic diplomatic protocol. On the American side, the 40-acre Seacroft Estate on Long Island stands in for the President's summer residence, its New England seaside character providing a beautiful backdrop for a last-ditch effort to contain a massive leak scandal. Coe Hall Historic House in Oyster Bay convincingly plays Chequers, the UK Prime Minister's country retreat. The splendid diplomatic and private spaces project authority, allowing us to go behind closed doors as a dark American agenda begins to unravel. The Diplomat "The locations were a mix of existing locations playing themselves, but mostly creative locations doubling for places all over the globe." -LM Christian Diaz de Bedoya/LMGI, Pluribus "Together, these environments help create a world that feels authentic and immersive, allowing the audience to experience the scale, culture and stakes of the modern energy industry through the places where the story is told." -SLM Dustin Daniels/LMGI, Landman The Night Manager
