Examining the State of the
Industry on Actors Day
The Portland Local held its annual Actors Day on April 18 at the
Oregon Labor Federation. The all-day conservatory program
invited members and pre-members to participate in workshops
regarding audiobooks, breaking down scripts for auditions, the
differences between stage and screen acting, and more. Casting
directors, franchised agents and state and city film offices
were also invited to give updates on the state of the industry.
