6 M PS E . O R G Welcome to our third annual Game Audio Edition of Wavelength! Every year, this edition gives us a chance to celebrate the achievements of our members, our Golden Reel-recognized teams, and the wider game audio community. It shines a light on the people, teams, and creative processes behind some of the most exciting work happening in game audio. What continues to inspire me is the passion and care behind the work. Behind every moment players hear is a team making countless creative and technical decisions, listening closely, solving problems, and finding ways to make the experience feel alive. As MPSE continues to recognize and celebrate game audio, this edition gives us another chance to look closely at the people and processes behind the work. These articles are a small window into the thinking, collaboration, and craft behind the games we play and the sound we all love. Looking ahead, we're excited for GameSoundCon 2026, taking place October 20–21 at the Burbank Convention Center in Burbank, CA . MPSE is proud to support the GameSoundCon Mixer and will also be exhibiting at the show. MPSE members can find a discount code in their profiles at MPSE.org Registration is now open at gamesoundcon.com/registration. A sincere thank-you to the MPSE membership, our Board of Directors, the Game Audio and Wavelength committees, and all the incredible contributors who shared their perspectives for this edition. Your time, generosity, and insight helped make this edition something special. I hope everyone has as much fun reading this edition as I did working on it.
