character had a roller coaster of a season. There were a lot of crying and kissing scenes, so there were a lot of quick touch-ups between takes. We also wanted to make sure she looked as young as possible, as she is playing a high school student. Robyn also took care of Jack Schumacher who played Yancy. She started each day with a guarded peanut shave. Also added a scar in his left eyebrow everyday with Dermaflage. Then depending on what he was wearing, if we saw his forearm, she would apply an Out of Kit scar. If he was shirtless (which happened quite often), she would apply another Out of Kit scar on his ribcage and also did tattoo cover on both biceps and left shoulder using EBA and Skin Illustrator. One of the first shooting days with him, he spent more than half the day in either the shower or a tub, so we needed to make sure it was waterproof and didn't move. In the beginning of the season, he was spending all his free time at horse riding lessons, so he naturally developed an authentic cowboy tan. It was important for us to maintain that continuity throughout filming. Our third make-up artist, Catherine Lawrence, took care of Marianly Tejada who plays Ellie.
