6 • LMGI COMPASS | Spring 2026 CONTRIBUTORS Chris Evans Chris Evans has been a film and TV journalist and editor for 25 years, covering locations and production, most recently as location editor of Screen International and KFTV. He has lived and worked in many countries, including Chile, where he was editor of the Santiago Times. His experience there was tempered somewhat, though, by being chased to the office each day by rabid dogs! Evans enjoys interviewing a variety of people in the screen sector, from gaffers and location scouts to A-list directors and actors. He can take his hand to everything from snappy news stories to big reports on key trending subjects, like virtual production and sustainability. He's also easy to spot on location at two meters tall! Sasha Alvarez Denisoff/ LMGI Sasha Alvarez Denisoff is a Los Angeles-based location professional with more than 10 years of extensive work in episodic television. Her credits include Spider-Noir, Animal Kingdom, Presumed Innocent and Shameless. In addition to the LMGI, she is a proud member of Hollywood Teamsters Local 399 and the Television Academy. In 2022, she was honored by the California On Locations Awards and 399 Steering Committee with the Assistant of the Year Award for her work as a KALM on Loot. She holds degrees in writing from Pratt Institute (BFA) and Columbia University (MFA), and enjoys contributing her knowledge of the creative process, with a deep understanding of how what is in the imagination gets translated to the page, and later the screen. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, hiking, beaches, travel and meandering road trips. Andrea Keener/LMGI Andrea Keener is a 29-year veteran of the Location Department and current LMGI Secretary for the 2006–2007 Board of Directors. She loves her job, exploring the world and the random bad dad joke. Her many credits include the feature films Captain America: Brave New World, Killers of the Flower Moon, Ant-Man and the TV series Tell Me Lies, Genius, Ray Donovan, Scandal, Cold Case and Curb Your Enthusiasm. A huge proponent of education and training for the next generation of location professionals, she spends her off-hours outside playing and adventuring—or helping develop educational programming for LMGI members around the globe. Angus Ledgerwood/LMGI Angus Ledgerwood has worked in locations for more than 14 years, starting out in Queensland, Australia, as a location scout and assistant. Angus has since developed his career in L.A., London and New York across film, television and commercials. Currently based in London, Angus' location managing credits most recently include The Diplomat, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Marvel's Secret Invasion and Living, along with numerous commercials. Angus also worked with Screen Queensland early in his career, where he developed and launched their locations database to attract films such as San Andreas, Thor and Pirates of the Caribbean 5 to film in Queensland.
