New York Women Shaping the Industry The theme for Women's History Month in 2026 was "Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future," and SAG-AFTRA members led the charge through local and national events. Highlights included kicking off the 12th Annual Nevada Women's Film Festival on March 19 in Las Vegas; celebrations with the AFL-CIO in Boston and New Jersey; the 46th Annual New York Women in Film and Television Muse Awards in New York; New York's Women Arts Day on March 28; and countless other moments celebrating and advocating for women and equity.
