PROPERTYMASTERSGUILD.ORG 5 CONTRIBUTORS SUSANNAH PALMER McCARTHY/ TASK Susannah Palmer McCarthy fell in love with moviemaking as a teenager and never looked back. After earning a BFA from NYU Tisch, she dabbled in production design and set decoration before finding that her true passion was encapsulated in the world of props. After a few years of working exclusively on commercials for NFL Films in prop fabrication and set design, she got her first feature break as a Property Assistant on The Sixth Sense. After a long hiatus to raise her young family, she dove back into the work she loves. Some of her projects include Mare of Easttown, Only Murders in the Building and Task. LAUREN SHELL/FRANKENSTEIN Lauren Shell began her career in Hollywood back in 2013 as a miniaturist working for New Deal Studios on Interstellar. After a few years of building miniatures, she made the jump from shop to set when she became the Property Master for Dave Made a Maze in 2015. In just over a decade in the industry, she's had the privilege of working with some legendary actors from Michael Keaton and Al Pacino to Jane Fonda and Patton Oswalt. Her passion for creating community amongst the Property Masters of the film and television industries led her to serve as the current Vice President of the Property Masters Guild, as well as the Co-chair of the Awards Committee. BRAD ELLIOTT/AVATAR Brad Elliott is a Property Master with 30 years of experience in the film and television industry. He has worked on dozens of projects that required expert design and manufacturing. From his earliest days with The Muppets to his latest work in television, he has been Property Master for Team America: World Police, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Rebel Moon 1 and 2, and more recent projects like Avatar 2 and 3.
