He currently sits on the House Judiciary Committee, which has jurisdiction over issues such as AI regulation, copyright, piracy, and antitrust enforcement. He is committed to protecting the legal and economic rights of all Americans, while advocating for New Yorkers in Congress to make their city safer, environmentally friendly, and more affordable for residents and businesses. Before joining Congress, Representative Goldman served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York where his work focused on organized crime and white-collar prosecutions. After his tenure in the U.S. Attorney's office, he was the lead counsel in the first impeachment of President Donald Trump. Representative Goldman is also a member of the Congressional Creative Rights Caucus. This was Representative Goldman's first Leadership Council meeting and the 122nd meeting hosted by the DGA PAC. On March 10, the Leadership Council held a meeting with U.S. Representative Suzan DelBene (D-WA) at Guild headquarters in Los Angeles. DelBene has served in the House since 2012 and currently chairs the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), the House Democrats' electioneering arm. She sits on the House Ways and Means Committee, which has jurisdiction over tax, trade, and social safety programs like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid – and previously sat on the House Judiciary Committee. She is a former chair of the New Democrat Coalition and is regarded as one of the most measured and expert members of the House. Prior to serving in D.C., DelBene was a Microsoft executive, a co-founder of drugstore.com, and head of Washington state's tax agency. Apart from quarterbacking House Democrats' midterm efforts, she has emerged as a leader on AI, digital trade, and healthcare within Congress. This was Representatives DelBene's first Leadership Council meeting and the 123rd meeting hosted by the DGA PAC. Photos 1.
