When unaddressed, health and safety issues undermine
the health of students and educators, weaken student
learning outcomes, exacerbate educator shortages, and
burden school budgets. e purpose of this OSHA 10
training is to promote workplace safety and health and
to provide workers with knowledge about workplace
hazards and their rights.
Upon completion, participants will be issued a
completion card by OSHA. Acquiring an OSHA-10
card proves to employers that you have completed
10 hours of OSHA-authorized training on critical
workplace safety topics. Workers with this credential
have industry-specific knowledge and skills that help
prevent injuries and keep workplaces safe.
